Professional services blogs creep into conversation


Just an observation: making the rounds in the professional services arena, blogs are starting to shake their old stigma. Still a terrible word, but now received and spoken with less disdain, eye rolling and head shaking. In fact, over the past week no fewer than three colleagues have mentioned the sudden emergence of blogs and their clear legitimacy as a thought leadership delivery channel.

Well, I never.

The jolting part of this is the timing, as it’s been just nine months since I felt quite an opposite reaction among clients and colleagues. A crawl compared to the consumer industry, but light speed for professional services. The next nine months should be an interesting explosion…
